How the takeoff is calculated
Square acreage uses the square root of acres times 43,560 square feet. Rectangles preserve the selected aspect ratio. Line posts are estimated from perimeter and spacing, brace posts from corners and gates, and total wire is perimeter times strands minus gate openings.
